THE DEATH OR GLORY BOYS The Story of the 17th Lancers 1759-1903

This cavalry regiment was raised in 1759. It served in several British Army campaigns until 1922, when it was merged into the 17th/21st Lancers. It is notable for its participation in the Charge of the Light Brigade during the Crimean War. This is the enlarged 1903 edition that covers the Boer War.
